Even though it took nineteen months to track down and capture five men, police in Los Angeles, California are excited about breaking into a large license forgery ring.
After realizing that two of their former employees were up to no good, one Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) office started to work with authorities. Police found that two men, along with three others, were creating false identification cards and driver's licenses in California. After gathering enough evidence against the other three men during their nineteen month investigation, officers were able to obtain five search and arrest warrants.
When the homes of the suspects were searched, officers found printers, computer equipment and additional evidence to reveal the counterfeit operation the suspects had been running. The men have since been charged with felony offenses for falsifying state seals and forging government identity documents.
