Former Superintendent Facing Additional Felonies

A former superintendent now faces the possibility of additional felony charges if the state prosecutor gets his way.
The former administrator of a school district in Southern California came under serious scrutiny when tens of thousands of dollars went missing. After examining the missing funds, police discovered that the former superintendent had given loans to a facilities director without permission.
A recent statement by the prosecutor's office hinted at the fact that additional evidence may lead to more charges. At this time, he faces two counts of misappropriation of public funds. If the prosecutor's office is going to file new charges, they must be done before November 10th when the trial is scheduled to begin.
