One of the four members of a group of five individuals that raided celebrity homes and stole $4 million in loot was sentenced last week.
The 21-year-old female went before a Superior Court Judge and pleaded guilty to the charges against her. A few days ago, she was sentenced to four years behind bars for one count of first-degree residential burglary. News sources say that she was found red-handed at the home of a reality star earlier this summer. As part of her plea bargain, she spoke with the prosecution about working with four others to break into celebrity homes.
As for the other four, they are still awaiting trial. Officers believe that the 21-year-old female was considered to be the second-in-charge, which means that at least one person could receive four or more years in jail. In total, the five worked together to steal more than $3 million worth of jewelry and other goods from multiple celebrity homes in California.
