A young man suspected of bringing a loaded firearm onto several university campuses has been detained by police this week. According to the Sheriff's Department Raymond Gray, 21, found a gun hidden in his home in Victorville. This was enough to arrest him for weapons crimes.
Deputies received a tip on Sunday about Gray's identity and location, allowing them to detain him. However, Gray did not go easily, prompting a brief standoff with the authorities before they were able to bring him in. Police located a World War II-era submachine gun hidden in his attic.
This isn't Gray's first brush with crime as he already had an outstanding warrant in Los Angeles. Officers booked him on suspicion of possessing a firearm, his outstanding warrant will also be taken into consideration at his first hearing.
If you have been arrested for a felony weapon offense then you could be facing serious prison time. Don't attempt to fight the law on your own.
