Police Rounding Up Suspects for MTV Shooting Case

The Los Angeles Police department has been working hard to round up the suspects in a shotgun-slaying of a MTV music coordinator this month.

According to police documents one woman and two men have been arrested for the murder of 30-year-old Gabriel Aron Ben-Meir. All three of them - Destiny Young, 29; Jabaar Vincent Thomas, 26; and Richard Edward Anderson, 33 - have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. The men have been charged with various felonyrobbery crimes, while Young faces two murder charges, one for Ben-Meir's slaying and another for a separate incident. It is possible that Thomas could also face a murder charge after final review of the incident.

Ben-Meir was just moments from his front door when he is believed to have been jumped by the three defendants. Although shots were heard and reported around 1:30 a.m., Ben-Meir's body wasn't discovered until 6:30 a.m. by a man walking his dog.
