Shaun King, former quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was arrested in Florida for driving under the influence. According to Hillsborough County jail records the athlete refused to take a blood alcohol test when he was stopped at 2:12 a.m. by sheriff's deputies.
King, 33, quickly posted the $500 bail and was released shortly after.
The former quarterback played for the Arizona Cardinals as well as the Buccaneers and was recently hired as a football analyst for the Bright House Sports Network. King now lives in St. Petersburg.
At this time a spokesperson for Bright House Networks would not issue a comment on the arrest but did say that King is only a part-time employee for the company, not full-time.
