Robber Dresses in Pink Scrubs

A criminal in a unique outfit was successful in robbing a bank but failed at eluding the police for very long in Rowland Heights. The man was dressed in pink hospital scrubs, a black wig and a Darth Vader mask carrying a hatchet when he robbed a bank inside of a grocery store on Friday.

The man was quickly identified as a courtesy clerk that works in another Albertson's grocery store in the 19000 block of Colima Road, according to sheriff's Capt. Mike Parker. Although the amount of money that he stole has not been released to the public, only that he definitely worked in the same store as the Bank of America that he robbed.

Even though it was well thought out, Parker said that "the robber's elaborate disguise did not keep from getting caught later on."
