Thousands of pounds of marijuana could have been en route to Ohio if officers hadn't intervened beforehand.
Christopher Cash will plead guilty to one count of conspiring to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute over 2,000 pounds of marijuana. However, he originally plead not guilty to conspiracy and to two counts of possession with intent to distribute more than 200 pounds of the drug.
Cash, 33, was one of six people found to be conspiring to move the marijuana from California to Ohio. Authorities believe that they have already moved 7,000 pounds of marijuana for a sum of $3 million. His attorney, Harry Reinhart, recently stated that his client is ready to admit responsibility for his part in the scheme.
