Woman Sentenced for Sex Crimes against Her Own Godson

A community was shocked to learn about a daycare center operator who was accused of molesting her own godson.

Recently, the 35-year-old woman was charged with four felony counts of committing lewd acts on a child under 14. Officers were alerted to the situation after several neighbors witnessed her entering a van with a young boy. They discovered that the young boy, who had just turned 13, was her godson, and she was committing sexual acts with him in the van. After investigating the case, officers learned that this was not the first time, but rather one of several times that she had engaged the boy in sexual acts.
