Arrest Warrant Issued Against Man Wanted for Three Felonies

A county court recently issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted for three different felony charges.
The suspect, a 67-year-old male, is wanted for multiple criminal offenses considered serious in nature. First, he is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender. A local police department reportedly received multiple calls that the suspect had not registered, as required by law, after moving into the neighborhood.
He is also believed to be in possession of obscene material. This second charges could result in a $5,000 fine or jail time if he is convicted. The third charge he is facing is felon in possession of a firearm, a very serious weapon crime in the state.
At this time, the defendant's bond has been set at $250,000 and it is reported that he is still in jail.
