In Los Angeles, news recently broke that Paris film has been charged with felony drug possession by Las Vegas prosecutors.
According to law enforcement, the famous hotel heiress had .8 grams of cocaine, a broken tablet of Albuterol and Zig Zag wrapping papers within her purse. She was searched after a traffic stop in Las Vegas during the evening hours.
According to the report, the 29-year-old asked to use a bathroom after police stopped her Cadillac Escalade because they detected a "strong odor of marijuana" in many from an open window of the vehicle.
Officers say that, "While we were waiting for the female officer to arrive, Hilton said she needed to put some lip balm on, and I handed her the purse from the table." They also say, "As she began to open it, I saw a small bindle of what I believed to be cocaine in a clear baggy begin to fall from the purse into my hand."
When police questioned her about the drugs, she stated that the purse was not hers. However, she admitted that the Albuterol, Zig Zag wrappers and $1300 in cash were in fact her property.
If she is convicted of her recent drug crime charges, she will face a maximum of four years in jail.
