20 Year Old Charged with DUI and Manslaughter

In South Los Angeles, a 20-year-old was booked on suspicion of felony drunk driving as well as manslaughter in a collision that resulted in the death of two people and the serious injury of another person.
Police say that the accident occurred early Saturday morning at 2:30 AM on South Western Avenue. A 2003 Cadillac CTS was traveling northbound on Western Avenue when it crossed the opposing southbound lane and struck a two-story apartment building, which was not occupied.
The passengers in the front and back seats of the Cadillac died during the accident. Both were men between the ages of 20 and 24. The passenger seated behind the driver sustained serious injuries and another passenger left the accident without any injuries.
The driver, a female, was taken to a nearby hospital and later releases. She was then booked for DUI and manslaughter.
