Three Men Arrested for Robbing Jewelry Store

Three men suspected of robbing a jewelry mart have been arrested by police and three others remain at large.  According to the Fullerton Police department, six unarmed men entered Fulerton Jewelry mart on Harbor Boulevard and used hammers to smash the jewelry cases so they could make off with the trays of jewelry.

Surveillance video footage showed that employees threw stools and other objects at the robbers during the attack on the store.  The men were wearing masks and hoods to disguise their faces while in the store.  After stealing jewelry, the men fled to waiting cars.

Three of the robbers were arrested by Whittier police later that day on auto-theft charges.  The men were connected to the robbery using evidence that was on their person, in their vehicle and in a motel room they were using.

Three of the robbers along with most of the jewelry are still missing, according to Fullerton Police Department officials.  The three men arrested were Dashawn Eugene Coleman, 22, Bryant fisher Burnett, 19, and Lavell Deshaw Grant, 22.  All of the men are suspected Los Angeles gang members.
