Police Capture Murder Suspect

In Los Angeles, police report that they have arrested a fugitive who was wanted for killing a woman during a burglary and setting her residence on fire. The fugitive, 34-year-old Omar Armando Loera, was placed under arrest in Mexico on Tuesday.
Officers said that Loera would most likely be transferred to United States authorities on Tuesday evening.
Loerao, a parolee, was wanted for the killing of Chere Osmanhodzic. She was found stabbed to death on July 24th in her burned down home in North Hollywood, California. An arrest warrant was issued for Loera on September 16th.
Detectives with the homicide unit said they used several leads to determine that Loera was staying in Mexico and U.S. marshals and Mexican authorities were looking to locate him there.
