Police in the city of Los Angeles recently arrested an 18-year-old driver who was believed to be involved in the felony hit and run death of a 16-year-old boy. The victim was jogging when he was hit by a car and killed in the Sherman Oaks area.
News sources later identified the victim as 16-year-old Conor Lynch. Conor had been driving across Woodman Avenue on Tuesday afternoon when he was hit by a SUV driven by 18-year-old Moran Biton.
Instead of stopping to check on the pedestrian, Biton continued to drive. She pulled over later to tell police that she believed she had hit someone.
Biton was placed under arrest and is being held in jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
