In the city of Pico Rivera, it is reported that local law enforcement placed a man and woman under arrest on Thursday. Both parties were found driving a stolen car that had two loaded handguns and evidence of identity theft.
46-year-old Blaire Stewart and 27-year-old Jorge Dominguez were booked by police on charges that include auto theft, identity theft and weapons crimes.
Police say they were able to hone in on a LoJack anti-vehicle theft system signal around noon and were able to trace it to a shopping center located at Whittier and Passons boulevards. There, they found a parked 2000 Jeep Cherokee that had been reported as stolen earlier that same day.
Officers waited until the parties came out to the car and drove away from the shopping center before pulling them over.
