In Burbank, local law enforcement is reporting that a man threw a brick through the window of a car that was parked in the area. The man then decided to burglarize the car all while pushing his two-year-old son in a stroller.
On Tuesday, police officers placed 31-year-old Frederic Strobel under arrest for suspicion of auto burglary as well as child endangerment.
Law enforcement officers say that the defendant had been pushing his son in a stroller during the afternoon hours of Tuesday when he smashed the vehicle's window and proceeded to steal a portable global satellite positioning device as well as CDs. Officers were able to locate the defendant nearby and recovered the stolen property from inside the stroller. They then release the two-year-old to its mother.
At this time, Strobel is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
