San Bernardino Police Arrest Suspect Wanted on Multiple Offenses

A Yucaipa man wanted for his involvement in multiple crimes has been apprehended and taken into custody by Redlands police.

James Jesse Sult was wanted by police for a Redlands home invasion robbery that took place March 6. Sult was also wanted in connection with a string of robberies, including two armed robberies, attempted carjacking, and evading police in a stolen car.

After taking Sult into custody, police discovered he had a loaded gun, heroin, methamphetamine, and keys to a stolen car in his possession. Shortly thereafter he was charged on multiple counts, including residential burglary, residential robbery, attempted carjacking, and violating parole.

Sult currently remains in custody at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
