A Riverside County man is being held on $1 million bail for allegedly torturing his 1-year-old daughter and 18-week-old baby.
Jeremiah Scott was arrested in late February and taken into custody, where he was later charged with attempted murder, torture, and injury to a child.
Riverside County sheriff's deputies arrested Scott while responding to a domestic disturbance call. When they came to Scott's home they found the two small children alone, bound and gagged inside a bedroom. They also had injuries to their face and head.
At this time deputies still do not have a motive, but fortunately, both babies are expected to recover.
