Recently, news sources reported that two fugitives that were wanted for separate cases were caught in Mexico. After being caught by law enforcement, the fugitives were sent back to Southern California where they were wanted for committing crimes.
The first fugitive was David Morales. He was sent back to the U.S. to face charges of forcing his way into the home of a relative in Laguna Niguel and raping the relative and a child. According to police, Morales ripped bedding and tied up the adult victim. He was found in Mexicali, Mexico and sent back to the United States by Mexican authorities.
The second fugitive was Eduardo Gilbert Nevarez who was deported from Mexico after being arrested by authorities who were working with the FBI. In March 2001, Nevarez was charged with parole violation after serving jail time for drug distribution.
