California Woman Arrested for Having 506 Pounds of Marijuana on Jet

This week, news sources reported that a California woman by the name of Lisette Lee was arrested in Ohio.  According to police, Lee had 506 pounds of marijuana with her on a private jet and was detained by law enforcement at the Ohio airport.  Officers report that Lee stashed the drugs in 13 suitcases and was traveling with a body guard.

Lee, her bodyguard and two personal assistances were placed under arrest on Monday night after the Drug Enforcement Administration got a tip that a 28 year old woman was traveling with a large amount of luggage.  When her jet landed, the assistants and bodyguard went to help the baggage workers unload the suitcases.  Some of the suitcases took two men to carry.

Officers confiscated three cell phones, cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and drug ledgers that showed $300,000 in drug transactions from Lee.  She was charged with conspiracy and drug possession with intent to distribute.
