This week in Los Angeles, it was revealed that no criminal charges would be pressed against the seven doctors that treated singer Michael Jackson.
According to prosecutors, it was Dr. Conrad Murray that administered a lethal dose of anesthetics to Jackson prior to his death. Murray, who was Jackson's personal doctor, pled not guilty to charges of involuntary manslaughter.
The Los Angeles police asked the attorney general's office to investigate the prescribing behaviors of Jackson's other doctors. On Wednesday, it was announced that the other doctors would not face charges. However, one doctor was referred to the California Medical Board for giving Jackson prescription drugs.
