Gang Crime Suspect Arrested for Suspicion of Murder

This Sunday, police reported that a suspect involved in the shooting death of a 4 month old boy was being held in Los Angeles County Jail. The shooting took place after a family baptism 10 months ago. The suspect allegedly ran to Mexico after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Now, 24 year old Ricardo Hernandez is being held without bail for suspicion of murder charges. He was taken into police custody in Jalisco, Mexico after detectives in L.A. received a tip and warned Mexican authorities. Following his arrest, he was deported to the U.S. and booked.
In October, another suspect in the shooting by the name of Alfonzo Landa (18) pled not guilty. He remains in jail in lieu of $9 million bail.
On September 27th, a family friend was feeds 4 month old Andrew Garcia a bottle when Hernandez and Landa supposedly walked by, exchanged words with a gang member outside of a car and then opened fire.
The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital from a bullet wound to the head. Police say that the person standing outside the car and the woman feeding the baby also sustained gunshot injuries.
