This past Thursday evening, police in Canyon Country arrested a man after finding $50,000 worth of drugs in his residence. Police say that they had been investigating the man, 24 year old Justin James Taylor, for six months before making their arrest. The investigation was spearheaded by Detective John Skikas.
While searching Taylor's home, Los Angeles Sheriff's Deputies seized 100 tabs of LSD, 50 marijuana plants, prescription pills of all names, two handguns, a shot gun and a half pound of marijuana. Prior to the search, police had obtained a warrant and served it to Taylor.
Taylor was arrested and charged with suspicion of transportation of controlled substances and possession with intent to sell narcotics. At this time, he remains in the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station and his bail amount has been set at $30,000.
