Woman Pleads Guilty to Slashing Leonardo DiCaprio's Face

This week in Los Angeles, the woman who stood accused of slashing actor Leonardo DiCaprio's face with a broken beer bottle has pled guilty to felony assault.  After the incident, 40 year old Aretha Wilson fled to Canada.

According to E! News, it took five years for police to extradite Wilson and get her to enter a plea in with the Los Angeles Court.

Following the attack, the actor needed 12 stitches to close the wound by his ear.  The assault occurred in 2005 at a Hollywood party.  In the initial police report, it is said that Wilson confused DiCaprio with an ex boyfriend. 

Now, Wilson is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail and is set to appear back in court on August 23^rd for a hearing.
